Important Announcement: PawzUp
Like many other charities, ROLDA has continued operating despite huge financial pressures that stemmed from the pandemic and worsened with the cost of living crisis. Every year there are tax increases and higher costs for services and supplies, meaning it’s even more difficult to find reliable materials and skilled staff. But we keep going with determination, and do our best to minimize how this impacts our work supporting vulnerable animals.
However we recently received advice from specialists to stop investments in some upcoming projects, until the economy stabilises. It was an incredibly tough decision for ROLDA, but we have followed advice and frozen building plans for the PawzUp Center, to ensure we weren’t risking our fragile budget.
It was with a heavy heart that we had to freeze development, but the project will resume as soon as it is financially viable. We will use this period to assess economic changes, review our budget and ensure every donation that we invest in this project will be carefully considered in the current financial climate, whilst still allowing us to continue our daily operations saving animals.
